Livestreaming is a rapidly growing format that has transformed the entertainment industry. With this increase comes a demand for a new type of graphic. Designers are being tasked with creating fascinating animations that capture the viewer’s attention, give information, and greatly improve the brand recognition of the livestream.

I took inspiration from existing livestream graphics, as well as animation and computer graphics developed for television programs. Show intros, transition videos, and outros made for great inspiration. I needed to sketch out the necessary assets, storyboard the motion aspects, and execute my ideas in Photoshop and After Effects.

Working with the up-and-coming NYC streamer Pouch Couch was a great experience for me. Learning about this new and exciting application of motion graphics strengthened my understanding of motion and helped me appreciate the depth of this art form.
